What’s new?

Today, we’re excited to introduce , a new feature in the Yahoo Sender Hub that provides email senders with greater visibility into their delivery performance at Yahoo.

You can find the new Insights section in your Sender Hub account under in the main toolbar. Once activated, Insights begins displaying aggregated delivery statistics for your verified DKIM domains — offering a clear view of how your messages are performing across Yahoo-managed domains.

What you’ll see

The Insights feature brings together key data points to help senders make informed decisions about their email programs. Current data signals include:

  • Spam Complaint Rate
  • Delivered Messages

For each DKIM domain, you’ll see a spam complaint rate and a total delivered count, along with a highlighted percentage that shows change over time — comparing the selected period (for example, the past seven days) to the previous period.

All data is displayed in UTC, and senders can view trends over time to quickly identify shifts in performance.

How to get started

To access Insights:

  1. Log in to your Sender Hub account (or create one).
  2. Click Dashboard in the main navigation.
  3. Select a verified DKIM domain from the drop-down menu (or add one and verify it).
  4. Click Activate to enable the feature.

Data will begin populating within 24–48 hours, provided that your domain meets the minimum daily volume threshold. Note that Insights data is available only for verified domains, and each Sender Hub account can view data only for the domains verified within that account.

A clearer view of complaint data

One of the most common questions we hear from senders is why their complaint rate doesn’t match what they calculate on their end. The Insights feature clarifies this: the Spam Complaint Rate shown in Sender Hub is based only on messages delivered to the inbox. This represents the true complaint rate and may differ if your own calculations include filtered or spam-foldered messages.

What’s next

Today’s launch marks the first step in expanding visibility for senders within the Yahoo ecosystem. We’re continuing to invest in data transparency and usability, so stay tuned to this blog and your Sender Hub Dashboard for future updates and enhancements.
